Tata and Seedo
The generation that has witnessed the Nakba are quickly dwindling. Those who left Palestine when they were children are in their 80s. This series is an effort to document them and their stories. It is an effort to dignify their presence while they are still with us.
This project is a growing series of portraits of grandparents related to the Palestinian experience. Whether that be about their childhood, their adolescence or how they’re living now, each story carries wisdom and the methods of endurance and resistance that, despite all that has happened on this land, allowed them to keep going.
